Alberta’s story goes back more than four decades when in 1981 the vision of its founder Mr. Theofanis Tompras led to the construction of the first processing plant at the heart of the country’s citrus cultivating area (Argolis). The plant produced mainly citrus juice concentrates, citrus cold pressed oils, peel water extracts and NFC juices along with apricot products in single strength puree quality.

Two decades later in 2000 the company expanded its production activity by constructing another processing plant at the heart of the peach cultivating region of Imathia.

Stone fruits (mainly peaches, apricots, pears, plums) as well as deciduous fruits (mainly apples) were processed to enrich and further expand the product & customer portfolio.

Our innovative products have been present in more than 60 countries and three continents around the globe.
